Scandals and War

In a few months from now Tony Blair would have given up the Premiership to Gordon Brown, his long neglected successor. As he leaves Downing Street, it is time to reflect upon the remarkable carreer of Tony Blair and his most uninspiring legacy he leaves behind. He shares along with Dame Margret Thatcher the distinction of being the only PM re elected thire in English history. He shares with Maggie the credit for reshaping the very contours of contemporary politics. While the Graet Dame enjoyed the support and goodwill of the US President Roland Reagan, she used it to reaffim English and British independence. Alas Tony Blair is seen all over the world as a slightly spoined poodle of George Bush II. And this is not the only problem.

Tony Blair created what is now called New Labor just as David Lloyd created the old Labor. Thanks to the unrelenting war of attrition waged against the Trade Unions by the Great Dame Maggie, the unions stand chastened and drained of influence in Englisn politics. Further the cuts in public spending started by the Great Dame has only oincraesed the levels of income and educational inequality in England. And thanks mainly to the self defeating policy of Multicultralism Enland along with other practitioners of Multiculturalism[/B like Holland and France has become a fertile breeding ground for jehais of very variety and stripe. And the war oin Iraq into which Tony Balir strayed with his eyes wide shut has only made the alienation of the Islamic community more pronounced.

Tony Blair's regime for all the sheen and gloss was a corrupt one in which the sleaze factor was the ever present reality. Blair has given the Crown honours to men who paid him and his party. Perhaps Blair is the only PM in English history who has had the Bobby coming knocking at his door in a criminal investigation. More recently he has directly intewrvened and stopped an investigation into a Saudi arms deal on the grounds of national security.. One fails to understand how the money trail in a corrupt deal in which Tony Balir and perhaps a few oil rich sheiks were involved would compromise national security. However the fog of sleaze hangs heavy over Tony Blair.

When Tony Balir came to power, England was still a growing middle ranking world power. His 11 years at the helm of affairs in England has eroded public confidence in the Government and England is now slowly but surely descending into the staus of aThird World country.

Have any links or proof to back this up? Or are you just trolling?

It took all of two seconds to come up with these links:

WWW Link">Link
WWW Link">Link
WWW Link">Link

Just because you aren't aware of something, doesn't mean the other person is trolling

Yes, but as of the moment....

Scotland Yard stressed that Mr Blair was interviewed "as a witness, not as a suspect" and said the meeting was kept confidential for "operational reasons".

And finding this took me all of one second. And this came from your very first link.
So like I said...does she have any "proof" or is she just trolling?
I was aware of the "supposed scandel. But at this time, he is NOT implicated in it just being questioned about it as there is no proof. Now that "may" change and quickly at that. But at the present time, no!
Bahu on the other hand is condeming him out of hand. With this sentence:

Yup, that's probably why he wrote:
